The isometric drawing shown above is another feature, showing an object at angles to better represent the object. AutoCAD can be drawn in 2 dimensions or 3 dimensions. The third dimension requires an additional cartesian plane, which can be refered to as z. Normal coordinates on a 2 dimensional graph are as followed (x,y). A three dimensional coordinate in autoCAD can be demonstrated as (x,y,z). This is represent because drawings are shown in a point in space that is relative to its dimension.
